1. Relax
Find a quet place where you can sit down alone with yourself. Even this place is the retiring room in your office. Remember you will need just 5 minutes for this. Close your eyes and start relaxing every possible muscle to your body starting from your head, eye lips, chicks, neck, shoulders etc. Then remain calm, relaxed and breathe deeply several times.
2. Countdown
Start counting from 25 to 1 in a one second interval. This will help you to stop thinking to whatever is in your mind. At that moment your breathing will slow down a bit and your body will become more relaxed.
3. Say positive affirmation
Now say this great positive affirmation to yourself: “Every day in every way I become better and better” five times. Imagine yourself as a better, positive and nice person. Positive affirmations unlock your happiness and you start thinking creatively at that very moment. Knowing that from now on you will be better and better person will make you calm and positive at all.
4. Imagine perfect place
It can be every place in the world where you were been or you desire to be. For example imagine yourself lying at the beach with a cocktail in one hand and ocean near you. It doesn’t matter the place or the situation, it does matter to imagine it clear in your mind. It’s important to feel the place and how you feel if you are there. Feeling is the key word here. Keep this feeling for a moment.
5. Project yourself in perfect conditions
Project yourself as everything goes perfect in your life. Stress comes from negative emotions, fear of failure or troubles. Imagine you have a magic wand that can make everything you want. What it would be? How you will look like? How other people will treat you?
6. Breathe deeply
Breathe very deeply with your stomach not with your lungs 3 times. Say “I’m a positive and happy person”. Open your eyes and smile. It is very important to smile. Make a big and sincere smile. The act of smiling is one of the biggest stress killers.
